Is there a cutoff time for submitting mobile deposits?

A Yes, the cut off time is 3:00 pm CST. Anything after 3:00 pm CST will be processed the next business day. Anything after 3:00 pm CST on Friday will be processed the following business day.

Q Does the check need to be endorsed?

A Yes, all checks should be signed and include the following on the back of the check:

  • Payee Signature
  • For Mobile Deposit Only
  • Account Number- only the last 4 digits of deposit account are required

Q How many checks can I deposit using mobile deposits?

A You can deposit up to 10 checks daily with a limit of $10,000, but you can only deposit one check at a time.

Q When am I able to submit my deposits?

A You can make a deposit using Mobile Snapshot anytime, anywhere - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Q How do I access Mobile Snapshot?

A You will access Mobile Snapshot inside the Generations Bank Mobile Banking App. Sign in to your Mobile Banking App, click the navigation bar in the top left corner, then choose Check Deposit.

Q  How do I qualify for Mobile Snapshot?

A You are qualified for Mobile Snapshot if you haven’t had more than 24 NSFs/ODs in the last 12 months.

Q Will I receive any notification of my mobile deposit?

A You will receive an email from info@mygenerations.bank when your deposit has been received. When your deposit is processed, you will receive a second email notifying you on the status of your deposit. This email will indicate whether the deposit was approved or declined. If the deposit is declined a reason will be provided.

Q What types of checks can I deposit with Mobile Snapshot?

A Most domestic checks can be processed through Mobile Snapshot. We are unable to accept Money Orders, Foreign Items, Savings Bonds, or Third Party Checks through Mobile Snapshot. 

Q What are my deposit limits?

A Your deposit limits are set to $10,000 a day with up to 10 checks, or a three day consecutive total of $30,000 with 30 checks.

Q Do I destroy the check after I photographed the deposit?

A No, keep the check for 14 days. After 14 days, you may securely destroy the check.
